At Galerie K, we focus on the three-person exhibition format. This is because it creates a relationship between the works that differs from that of a two-person show or a group exhibition of a number of people, and at the same time highlights the individual artists and creates a unique atmosphere as a single space.
The history of art from the modern period to the present has tended to broaden and diffuse its territory in terms of subject matter, method, authors, recipients and regions. At the same time, however, the word art has the power to evoke certain ideals for both the creator and the recipient, and to symbolise something important to human beings. I would like to make such a question the theme of this exhibition: can we sense in the heart of the encounter between the three artists and their expressions the existence of a force that draws us towards a shared centre, while at the same time evolving in a variety of ways?
