Hide and Seek

Sitterwerk, St. Gallen

I faced a series of banal factories.
I hardly saw a sense of art from the outside.

This was the moment I got into the territory, there was me seeking him.
This was the moment I stepped into the territory, there stood the man seeking me.

It was not only him but the others hiding/seeking from/for me.

The project aims to extend the art factory’s capacity and open it to the public.

Not knowing what is happening in the dock, visitors walk towards the iron tower,
which is purely an object that elevates visitors up and down.

Once visitors touch the ground of the dock, there appears activity under each shelter.
The ensemble of shelters makes a loose visual connection to each other.

There emerge intermittent changes of view.
You find yourself playing Hide and Seek with shelters and objects.
