Synagogue Lengunau, Zürich

The prayer hall was empty, except it was not.
The sun of late September came into the space.

The sunlight was not merely a light anymore.
The sunlight was creating warm clothe reflecting dust.

There I find myself wearing something beyond clothes; a space
.

The space is to give a liberal Jewish community a new ‘dwelling. ‘

The ensemble of three buildings creates a protected courtyard from the urban setting.
The generosity of this courtyard forms a sense of community.

Once you step inside the prayer hall, there appear four columns.
The hall is divided by them and curtains.

The space appears ephemeral.
You wear the cloth of light; hence the space turns into the cloth.
