Presence of Image

Absence is a state of invisibility, knowing there exist persons you expect or objects you own somewhere other than where you are.

You wish they were in front of you.
You fear you’ll lose them.
You miss their existence.

The image in your mind is so ephemeral.
It never stays in a specific form, because it’s beyond the form.
You only capture the image of a moment that reminds you of an appearance or an event,
yet you cannot rip it off your brain.

A drop of colour falls into a glass of water and floats in it.
It keeps moving and changing its form as if it’s alive.
Here, you’re looking at the glass of water with floating colours.
There, you find yourself in the water, sensing the colours are beleaguering you.

Now you are looking at a space on the canvas.
You are chasing the colours floating in the space.
You are witnessing someone/something through the space.
